What to Expect

BEFORE YOUR VISIT
After scheduling your initial visit to Spark Life Chiropractic, our team members will email specific paperwork tailored to your individual health goals. We ask that you provide as much detail in your paperwork about your specific needs. This will help the doctor connect with who you are and help us serve you. You must have the paperwork filled out before your first visit to the office or your appointment may be rescheduled.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your first visit to the office will give us the opportunity to connect with you. At Spark Life Chiropractic, we care about your wellness goals and strive to help you achieve them to the best of our ability. After connecting over your paperwork, we will perform a detailed assessment, determining if your neuro-spinal system is balanced. Please allot the appropriate time needed, as the first visit will take 45 minutes.

YOUR SECOND VISIT
By the time of your second visit, the doctor has gone over the results of your neuro-spinal analysis and has created a care plan specific to your individual health needs. At this visit, we will discuss your care plan, any additional recommendations, and answer any questions that you may have. Please note that this visit will take 30 minutes. You will receive your first adjustment on this visit.
Please Note: Our office does not accept insurance or provide itemized insurance receipts. Your first visit will include a consultation, evaluation, and examination. Your first adjustment will take place on your second visit.

Meet the Founder
Dr. Flint Sparks
Dr. Flint Sparks was born and raised in Oklahoma. He attended his undergraduate at Oklahoma State University and finished his doctorate program at Parker University in Dallas. He is a member of the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and is Webster Certified as well. Dr. Sparks is advanced proficiency certified in Torque Release Technique and is also a member of Pediatric Experience, where he has an 80-hour Life University certificate for proficiency in Pediatric Chiropractic care. Furthermore, he spent 4 years as an associate Doctor in Burleson, Texas, serving 500 people a week. His original interest in healthcare started with nutrition and how food can make or break disease processes. After shadowing a Chiropractor in his local town of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Dr. Sparks was determined to bring health and healing to families and individuals in North DFW, through neurologically-focused care. Inspired to create a whole family focused practice, Dr. Sparks launched Spark Life Chiropractic to help address health challenges you or your loved ones may be experiencing, sparking true healing from the inside out.

WILL I GET ADJUSTED ON MY FIRST VISIT?
We like to be as thorough as possible with our consultation and assessments on your first visit to ensure that we are not guessing with your health. Dr. Sparks prefers to review all cases in depth before providing specific, individualized care recommendations. Once we review everything with you at your second appointment and you decide to proceed with care, you will receive your first adjustment!
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
We are not in network with insurance because we have found that most insurance companies put limitations on the care our practice members deserve. Not billing insurance allows for us to create the best, affordable care recommendations for our members. In addition, we provide several different payment options, which are often less than what you would pay with insurance.
WHY SHOULD CHILDREN GET ADJUSTED?
The stressors surrounding everyday life have increased significantly in today’s society. This forces our children to either adapt or struggle. We want to make sure that the future leaders of our communities have every advantage to thrive. Members bring their children for a whole host of reasons, but the majority of them are investing in the future health of their children by being proactive in building their health instead of reacting to symptoms.
HOW DOES CHIROPRACTIC HELP MY PREGNANCY?
Through proper alignment of your spine and pelvis, chiropractic care helps support your body through the rapid changes undergone throughout pregnancy. This provides the most optimal internal environment for nurturing your baby and allowing baby to get into position for birth. Chiropractic has been shown to not only help mothers have a more comfortable pregnancy but can also decrease labor pains and delivery times as well.
What about my child with sensory/processing challenges?
Our office understands the needs of their pediatric patients, especially with Neuro-Developmental and Sensory Processing Disorders. In these cases, we will provide a specific sensory-based assessment for your child. Please let us know before your first visit how we can best accommodate you and your child’s needs such as setting up a phone consultation, splitting appointment times, or blocked off hours for an in-office examination.
